Making the everyday a little nicer in this soothing slice-of-life campaign.
In this series of shorts directed by Clubcamping, IKEA wanted to make young people venturing out for the first time feel at home in a way that speaks authentically to Gen Z. To do so, Clubcamping created an homage to the anime sub-genre “slice of life”, known for its portrayal of the beauty in everyday moments, typically through incredibly soothing scenes of people going about their days.
Marrying the calming "slice of life" principles with IKEA's values of making people's everyday lives better lays the groundwork for the series.
