Who You Are
Hornet is seeking a Studio Coordinator to join our team. The Studio Coordinator brings the spirit of hospitality to the front of house at Hornet, creating a space that feels welcoming, vibrant, and uniquely ours. With an eye for aesthetics and a keen ability for anticipating people’s needs, this role is about more than organization. It is about making every interaction thoughtful, every corner of the studio cared for, and every event feel special. Surrounded by a diverse and talented community, the Studio Coordinator helps nurture a culture of inclusion, creativity, and connection that makes Hornet such a one-of-a-kind place to work and visit. This is a great opportunity to join a warm and creative environment and grow into a role focused on leading, shaping, and championing the culture and overall Hornet experience.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and host all guests, clients, and freelancers, ensuring a warm, professional, and “hospitality-first” experience.
Manage front-of-house operations including phone support, reception, meeting coordination, and security access for onsite staff, freelancers, etc. - Oversee office logistics: vendor management, supplies, cleaning crew, building communication, and maintenance needs (internet, HVAC, AV, etc.).
- Maintain tidy and inviting common areas with regular walkthroughs and upkeep.
- Coordinate catering, snacks, and supplies for meetings, client visits, and staff needs within budget.
- Plan and support internal and client-facing events, including team gatherings and holiday/client gifting.
- Provide administrative support: scheduling, travel bookings, expense reconciliation, and record keeping.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support studio operations and team success.
Qualities:
- Experience in hospitality, client services, or studio operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a positive, professional environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable giving direction while fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and basic AV/office systems.

You’re a relationship-builder and strategic thinker who knows how to turn opportunity into momentum. You understand how brands grow and how marketers think. You know the terrain—marketing, media, brand experience—and how to navigate it to identify the right clients, the right conversations, and the right moment to open the door.
You’re proactive, persuasive, and collaborative, with a solid grasp of the process from pitch to delivery(production). You support smart strategy, compelling creative, and exceptional design as part of a team focused on closing transformative creative business
Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing relationships and networks to generate immediate business opportunities.
- Source and qualify prospects to expand Hornet’s client base across creative production, branded content, and media.
- Conduct outreach, follow-ups, and tailored communications to ensure prospects are ready for handoff to the Account Executive team.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align on strategy, provide market insights, and support growth initiatives.
Track engagement metrics, maintain prospect lists, and ensure smooth handoffs and pipeline visibility.
Qualities:
- Proven experience driving business development in a production studio, creative agency, or related environment.
- Strong existing relationships or a network of contacts to accelerate growth.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate Hornet’s value proposition.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working independently and delivering results quickly.
