Who You Are
You are a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager with a passion for building relationships in a thoughtful and strategic way. You excel at identifying opportunities, building relationships, and opening doors to new revenue streams for Hornet. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience, creativity, and a consultative approach to sales. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of driving growth by connecting potential clients with the unparalleled creative solutions Hornet offers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Outreach:
- Proactively source and generate new business opportunities across creative production, branded content, and media.
- Identify, research, and qualify potential clients across diverse industries, including advertising, entertainment, and brand marketing.
- Leverage tools such as trend reports, competitive analysis, and personal networks to identify and engage potential partners.
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct needs assessments and research to craft tailored solutions that align with client goals and Hornet's capabilities.
- Maintain consistent communication with prospects, guiding them through the qualification process to transition seamlessly to the Account Executive team for closing.
- Collaboration and Strategy:
- Partner with internal teams to align on business development strategies and provide market feedback.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities to position Hornet as a leader in the creative production space.
- Share insights and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment on outreach strategies and campaign effectiveness.
- Tracking and Reporting:
- Maintain and update prospect lists, tracking outreach efforts, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
- Ensure smooth handoffs to teams and track the success of qualified leads through the sales pipeline.
Qualities:
- Proven track record in business development with a focus on creative production, media, or branded content.
- Experience sourcing and qualifying leads, with a strong aptitude for cold outreach and building new client relationships.
- Strong understanding of creative production processes and storytelling for brand campaigns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate Hornet's value proposition clearly and effectively.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and can adapt to shifting market needs.
- Passionate about the intersection of art and commerce, with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships in the creative space.
