Tour 1980s Leeds in a collage-inspired music video
The music video loosely tells the story of George Evelyn’s (Nightmares on Wax) formative years in Leeds and the sounds and places that inspired him.
The visual language takes cues from the cut-and-paste nature of mixtapes, layering soul, roots, hip-hop, dub, and electronic music. As the speaker and sounds bring George’s world to life, the music video enters an abstract realm of colour and imagination, kaleidoscopically crafted from fragments and clips of his early and seminal music videos.
