In response to the surge in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation on the state level, Director Natalie Labarre and Designer Christy Lundy embarked on a reflective journey through the sociopolitical struggles and triumphs of the Pride movement.

The duo crafted a unique, handmade protest poster-inspired aesthetic that seamlessly blends graphic language with cinematic elements. Distinct color palettes and textures specific to each decade serve as visual cues, capturing the essence of each era. The protest posters featured in the film, bearing the powerful message "We Won't Go Back," draw inspiration from documented signs wielded in the ongoing fight for equality over the course of decades.

Within Hornet, a vibrant community of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies collaborates across all levels and departments, contributing to the collective strength and creativity of the team.
